I took the beast out for a while today, but when I shift to a higher gear, I get a flat spot like its starving kind of falls a bit, but then takes off and runs alright.  It doesn't happen when you crank on it hard, and runs alright at steady highway speed. its not really bad but not running as it did or should, and irritating.   Any thoughts?

Gulliver, if you are asking me that question, that is an el cheapo ebay special headlight light and I wouldn't recommend it - the light quality is very poor. I would suggest getting a higher quality light such as headwinds.

Headwinds cost an arm and both legs. I got mine on ebay for $125.00. It has a 9 inch bucket. The biggest headwinds has is a 7 inch bucket.

The light was $125.00 including the bulb. I like the headwinds adaptor best it was about $85.00 5 years ago.

There are cheaper adaptors. I think CM2 has one.

I resynced, and adjusted the A/F mix it is running good but still a small flat spot.  I ran some seafoam through a tank in the last two days, it seems to be getting better though.  Prince your ride is sharp man.

Thanks, Yes I wanted to powder coat the rims but that cost too much. So I got a can of paint for about 6 bucks.

The forks are chrome.

Got the headlight on ebay and the adapter from headwinds.

Did you see the turn lights ? They match the headlight.
Only about 50 bucks from JCWhitney

Did you remove and restring the spokes? I'm thinking of doing the same thing.
